I love that everyone is so confused on what to call DH. I think that in itself is the definition though, the only thing everyone agrees on is that we can’t agree on anything. I like how this graph says “Does Twiter trivialize its professional discourse?” It is so humorous to me that people are worried that twitter has become so popular in this field. Like scholars aren’t allowed to do something fun and modern. Twitter is important though, why can’t we have our cake and eat it too?

Can it save the humanities? In what ways does it need to be saved? What definition of “save” is this question asking? To save it because it needs help, or to save it for a later date?
It’s kind of both. We are saving the humanities by bringing everything together so that we can continue our studies without duplicating too much and it is keeping our record all together in one place that is accessible almost anywhere at any time!
