When I first read about the interactive fiction, the first thing that came to my mind was The Sims.  Growing up, I always played The Sims because I enjoyed creating the houses and controlling the lives of the players.  To me, The Sims is an example of interactive fiction because you can control your avatar’s actions and environment; although the “control” is through clicks of coding, rather than text, I still think the two are similar.
